Massage-Bodywork
My approach to bodywork is a blend of techniques and styles from when I received my formal education and continuing education working with a variety of clients through out my 16 year career. I use a melting muscles style, body movement with massage strokes to achieve and promote muscle relaxation and healing.

Swedish
**Light, Medium or Firm pressure, elongated massage strokes to relax the mind and body**
Deep Tissue
**Deep Pressure, trigger point, specific work with chronic issues or injured areas (For any type of injury, it’s recommended that you wait at least 48-72 hours before engaging in any type of massage. Particularly for acute injuries, like a strain or sprain, it’s important to follow what is known as the R.I.C.E. program)**
Rest – to protect the injured muscle, tendon, ligament, or other tissue from further damage.
Ice – to reduce pain and spasm, and to control swelling.
